At Morgan’s Mango, the experience goes beyond what’s on the plate. The drink menu packed with tropical cocktails and regional rums is designed to enhance and complement the flavors of the Caribbean. Here, we walk you through some ideal pairings between food and drink.


Eat well, drink even better
A great culinary experience isn’t just about the food drinks play a starring role too. The right pairing can elevate a dish, enhance its ingredients, and make lunch or dinner even more enjoyable. This is what pairing is all about: the art (and a bit of science) of finding the perfect match for every bite.

Rum, the king of the Caribbean
You can’t talk about pairing in this region without mentioning rum. At Morgan’s Mango, our bar features a wide selection of Caribbean rums, perfect for pairing with seafood, spices, or tropical fruits. An aged rum pairs beautifully with grilled pork, while a light, citrusy white rum is ideal alongside fresh fish or ceviche.

Among the standout rum cocktails on our menu:
Caribbean Passion: passion fruit, passion fruit liqueur, Cruzan dark and light rum, and fresh lime juice.
Mango Colada: Cruzan rum, Cruzan mango rum, mango, and Coco López—a tropical spin on a classic.
Marilyn, 1995: a bold blend of Cruzan 151 dark rum, passion fruit, mango, pineapple juice, fresh lime, and coconut.

Fresh fruit, fresh cocktails
Seasonal fruit-based cocktails are another perfect match for Caribbean cuisine.
Take the Mango Tango, for example—made with vodka, Cruzan 151 dark rum, Cruzan mango rum, and mango. It's the perfect complement to spicy or tropical-flavored dishes.

Other great options include:
Hugo, 1989: Cruzan dark and light rum, mango, orange juice, strawberries, and lime.
Green Iguana: melon liqueur, Cruzan rum, pineapple juice, and Coco López.

Wine works, too with the right match
While wine might not be the first thing that comes to mind in the Caribbean, our menu includes carefully selected options to pair with our dishes. A dry white wine is excellent with shrimp or grilled fish. For dishes with richer flavors—like spiced meats or creamy sauces—a chilled rosé or young red wine can be a great choice.
